Behala Balananda Rehabilitation Society is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and also a unit of social welfare organisation.Founded on June 1, 1995, in presence of late Dr. Anutosh Dutta(Hony. Secretary) Dr.Basudeb Dey (Hony. General Secretary) and late Sri Sri Bivabananda Brahmachari (founder President).

Objectives

The "YOGA" from the Sanskrit "YUJ" meaning to bind, join, attach and Yoke.

Thus "YOGA" means Yoking of all power of body, mind and soul "YOGA" is nothing but a system of meditation and self control, connecting the individual so with the Universal spirit ( Paramatma of God ). Our slogan is healthy for everyone.

To Set-up a research Institution for spreading up different branches of Yoga.

To Set-up a rehabilitation Hospital for treatment of patients through natural process.

To provide services and special services to the poor people.

To provide proper training to a person for eradication of diseases.

To work and provide comprehensive Rehabilitation facilities to all types of disabled and handicapped person of their Orthopaedically, Physically, Neurologically, Rheumatically, Social, Economic and Cultural up-liftment and total development.

To Set-up oldage home.

To Set-up rehabilitation vocational training center for handicapped child.
